Bristol fatal road crash victim named as George Patten

A man who was killed in a road crash in Bristol has been named by police.

George Patten, 23, from the Brentry area of the city, was killed in the early hours of 4 January in a collision on Kingsweston Road in Henbury.

It is believed that the car he was driving hit a lamppost after losing control on a bend. No other vehicles were involved.

Avon and Somerset police have asked anyone who witnessed the accident or who has information to contact them.
