Woman raped by two men in Bristol

A 24-year-old woman has been raped by two men who pulled her into their car as she walked past a pub in Bristol, police have said.

The men were sitting in a red car described as being similar to a Ford Fiesta opposite the Fulford Arms in the Hartcliffe area.

The woman was walking towards Hawkfield Road when they grabbed her and assaulted her before she escaped.

Police have now increased their patrols following the attack early on Sunday.

Teardrop tattoo

Det Insp Mike Buck said: "This was an isolated incident in which a lone woman was targeted by these men and subjected to violent attack.

"Investigations are ongoing, and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen these two men."

He said one of the men had a distinctive mole or tattoo on the left side of his cheek. He was aged in his early 30s, of mixed race, tall and of skinny build. He had short brown hair and was wearing a blue Rockport jumper.

The second man had a black teardrop tattoo under his right eye, and is white, in his early 30s, of stocky build and had short ginger hair. He was wearing dark blue jeans and a black short-sleeved roundneck top.
