M5 crash: Lorry driver dies near Bristol

M5 motorway closed The southbound M5 (right) was closed early on Tuesday

A lorry driver was killed when his vehicle was involved in a crash with another lorry and a van on the M5 near Bristol.

Police closed a 19-mile (31km) stretch of the motorway southbound from Gloucester to Thornbury for several hours. The road reopened at 13:00 GMT.

All lanes past the scene of the collision were open by 15:00 GMT, police said.

Details of the identity of the victim have not yet been released by police.
