Bristol PC faces misconduct hearing after boy, 13, punched
A police officer who allegedly punched a boy of 13 during a stop and search in Bristol, is to face a misconduct hearing.
The officer, serving with Avon and Somerset Police, is accused of using excessive force on 22 June.
A police spokesman said the hearing would be chaired by a senior officer.
"The sanctions available to them, if they find that gross misconduct is proven, range from words of advice to dismissal without notice," he said.
