Bristol family rescued from house fire by neighbour

A mother and two young children have been rescued by a neighbour from a house fire in Bristol.

The woman, a three-year-old child and a six-month-old baby, were helped from an upstairs window in Bramley Close, Pill, before firefighters arrived.

Avon Fire and Rescue Service said the neighbour's actions "undoubtedly saved the occupants' lives".

Six firefighters dealt with the blaze, which is thought to have started accidentally at around 05:00 BST.
