Jason Betts: Two men charged with murder

Two men have been charged with the murder of a man found with head injuries in South Gloucestershire.

Jason Betts, 38, was found unconscious at his flat in Celestine Road, Yate, on 5 March and died later in hospital.

Nixon Apire, 30, from Great North Road, Barnet, London and Nathan Skeen, 28, of no fixed address, are both accused of killing him, police said.

The pair have been remanded in custody and are due to appear before North Avon Magistrates' Court on Friday.

A 37-year-old man, initially arrested on suspicion of murder and released on police bail, has had his bail date extended until 23 March.
