Man dies in Yate Indesit factory cherry picker incident
An investigation has been launched into the death of a man who suffered multiple injuries when a cherry picker overturned at a factory.
The man, 66, believed to be a private contractor, had been carrying out an electrical repair at Indesit UK Limited in Yate, Gloucestershire, on 21 March.
A Health and Safety Executive (HSE) spokeswoman told the BBC he was taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol but died on 31 March.
She said the HSE attended on 23 March.
No further details would be revealed while investigations were ongoing, she said.
The factory in Station Road is responsible for the manufacture and wholesale of electrical products.
