Bristol church youth leader guilty of sexual activity with a child
A church youth leader who was found guilty of sexual offences against a child will not be jailed as he has already served the time in prison.
Philip Barlow, 33, from Saltford near Bath, was sentenced to two-and-a-half years at Bournemouth Crown Court.
He was found guilty of 13 charges, including eight of sexually assaulting a girl under 13 and will be on the sex offenders' register indefinitely.
Reporting restrictions over the sentencing in March have been lifted.
Barlow was also found guilty of five counts of sexual activity with a girl under the age of 16.
Barlow, of Raleigh Close, was a youth leader at Grace Bible Church in Saltford where his father is the pastor.
