Body of man in Hotwell house 'not suspicious'

A man arrested on suspicion of murder after the discovery of a body at a house in Bristol has been released without charge, police said.

A man in his 30s was found dead at a property in Hotwell on Friday.

Avon and Somerset Police said a post-mortem examination showed "no assault had taken place" and the death is not being treated as suspicious.

A toxicology report is being sought which could take several weeks. The man has not been formally identified.

A man in his forties arrested on Friday is no longer being held.
