Man, 21, arrested after Easton Jolly Roger pub shooting

A 21-year-old man was arrested in connection with a shooting outside a pub in the Easton area of Bristol.

Police said a 25-year-old man was taken to hospital having been shot in the stomach outside the Jolly Roger pub on All Hallows Road shortly after 04:00 BST on Sunday.

Avon and Somerset police said the arrested man remains in custody.

The victim, taken to hospital with serious stomach injuries, is in a stable condition.

Detectives have appealed for witnesses to the incident to contact them.
