Firefighters tackle blaze at Cambridge pub

Firefighters were called early on Sunday morning to a fire at a pub in Cambridge.

Six crews from across Cambridgeshire were called to tackle the blaze at the Carlton Arms pub on Carlton Way

The roof of the top-floor flat in the building was badly damaged but no-one was seriously injured in the incident.

Andy Tucker, incident commander, said firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading further through the building.
