Teenager's Peterborough river death accidental

A verdict of accidental death has been recorded at the inquest on a teenager who died after a night out in Peterborough.

Theo Kawala, 16, disappeared after a night in the city on 18 February, sparking a major police search.

His body was spotted by a member of the public in the River Nene, near the Charters Bar, two weeks later.

His mother, Cecile, is now campaigning to raise awareness about the dangers of underage drinking.
