Fatal tree crash driver, from Cambridgeshire, is named

A 21-year-old man who died after his car crashed into trees when it veered off the A1 in Cambridgeshire has been named.

Andrew Ernest Graham, known as Drew, of Lime Grove, St Neots, was driving his BMW on the northbound carriageway of the A1 when it left the road just before 08:00 BST on Saturday.

The car crashed into trees at the side of the road at Southoe.

He was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, where he died on Sunday.

PC Timothy Kirkby, investigating, said: "I would appeal to anyone who saw what happened or the vehicle prior to the collision to contact police."

Anyone with any information is asked to call Cambridgeshire Police.
