Woman bailed over missing Peterborough mother

A woman arrested by police investigating the disappearance of a Peterborough mother has been bailed.

Lithuanian Vitalija Baliutaviciene, 29, has not been seen since leaving her home in Burmer Road, in the New England area of the city, on 12 August.

A 29-year-old woman was arrested in Peterborough last Thursday on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been bailed until 7 November.

Two people have previously been held in connection with the disappearance.

A 39-year-old woman also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender remains on bail, while a 46-year-old man arrested on suspicion of kidnap and murder is in Lithuania awaiting extradition proceedings.
