Car hunt after man's body found in Chittering property

The body of a man has been found at an address in Cambridgeshire.

A police spokesman said the body was found inside the property in Chittering at 12:30 GMT on Sunday and they were treating the death as suspicious.

Officers are keen to trace a car they believe to have been stolen from the address.

Det Ch Insp Chris Mead asked for anyone who saw the Rover 75 estate, registration BJ51 CJV, to contact Cambridgeshire Police immediately.

"We are keen to find this car and I would urge anyone who sees it or has any information to call the police," he said.

"I would stress that if you see this car do not approach it, but simply dial 999."

Det Ch Insp Mead also asked for anyone who was in the Chittering area, especially by the A10 near the Travellers Rest pub after 18:00 on Saturday, who may have seen the car or anything suspicious, to contact them.
