Motorists in Cambridgeshire are being warned to take care on the county's roads.

Most routes are clear but drivers are being asked to be aware of snowy and icy conditions after 10cm (4in) of snow over the weekend.

The Highways Agency in Cambridgeshire said it had been gritting all the main roads every two hours.

John Caldwell, the regional operations manager, said: "We are asking people not to travel unless they have to."

Sunday is predicted to stay cold, with some light rain or sleet at times, and clear intervals bringing a risk of ice.

Monday is expected to be cloudy, cold and misty with some patchy light sleet or rain.
