Up to 600 motorbike riders will be travelling along the A14 near Cambridge to mark Armed Forces Day.

The motorcyclists, from The Royal British Legion Riders' Branch, are taking part in the annual Allied Memorial Remembrance Ride.

A short service commemorating members of the allied forces will take place at the American War Cemetery in Madingley, followed by a Spitfire flypast.

Money raised from the mass ride is donated to the Poppy Appeal.

Similar rallies are taking place in the US and Canada.

The Remembrance Rides represent "one ride in three nations, its riders united in remembrance of our fallen heroes from the allied forces, past and present, who have paid the ultimate sacrifice".
