Two men have been re-arrested by detectives investigating the murder of a pensioner in Cambridgeshire last year.

Llywelyn Thomas, 76, was found dead at his Chittering home on 18 December.

The men, aged 25 and 20, were bailed in June but re-arrested earlier and are being questioned by police.

Detectives believe Mr Thomas, a retired farmer who had moved to the area from south Wales 12 years earlier, was killed during a botched burglary.

A 23-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy remain on bail in connection with the investigation.

Rewards totalling £50,000 have been offered for information leading to the conviction of those responsible.
