Wisbech man dies in miniature motorbike crash

A man has died after crashing into a metal railing while riding a miniature motorbike.

Police said Michael Bailey, 20, from Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, crashed while riding a green mini-moto at a park off Main Road in the town on Sunday afternoon.

Cambridgeshire Police said no-one else was involved in the crash.

Mini-motos are capable of speeds exceeding 25mph (40km/h) and are illegal on British roads.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
