Cambridgeshire trunk road gridlock delays commuters

21 October 2013 Last updated at 13:56 BST

Thousands of commuters were caught up in traffic chaos when trunk roads around Cambridge became gridlocked.

There were tailbacks of 20 miles and journeys which usually take minutes ended up taking hours.

The problems started on the A14 near Bar Hill when a lorry travelling westbound overturned.

Fae Southwell reports.
