Ely car crash pedestrian victim named by police

A pedestrian who was killed in a crash involving two cars has been named.

Cambridgeshire Police said Emundas Lymantas, 34, of no fixed address, was hit on Angel Drove, Ely, at 20:15 GMT on Sunday. He died at the scene.

Officers said a Skoda Octavia and a Kia Soul were both involved in the smash. The occupants were not injured.

The road was shut for several hours while emergency crews attended the scene. Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
