A man has been arrested in connection with an attack in Cambridgeshire.

Armed police were called to Victoria Road, Wisbech, on Tuesday, after a man was discovered with head injuries.

The 57-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn but later discharged himself.

A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and is in custody in King's Lynn in Norfolk.
