A man found dead in a shop in Cambridge has been named by police.

The body of Clive Beeson, 46, of Dudley Road in the Abbey area of the city, was found just after 06:30 GMT on 15 December at the One-Stop store in Ditton Lane.

Post-mortem tests proved inconclusive. An inquest into his death was opened and adjourned earlier this month.

Four men arrested on suspicion of manslaughter were released on bail until 11 February.

Police said Mr Beeson had allegedly been involved in an "altercation with a man and his dog" earlier on the day of his death. They were told Mr Beeson had bitten the animal.
