Bridge Foot Quarry wood fire arson suspect released

No further action will be taken against a man arrested on suspicion of arson following a recycling plant blaze, Cambridgeshire Police has said.

The fire in a large pile of wood chippings at Bridge Foot Quarry at Flint Cross near the A505 started at about 22:15 GMT on 13 November.

It was believed to have been arson.

A man in his 70s arrested shortly afterwards has now had his bail cancelled. There are "no further lines of inquiry", police said.
