Man held over 'homophobic' leaflets

A man has been arrested by police investigating the distribution of allegedly homophobic leaflets in Peterborough.

The 53-year-old from Corby was detained on Tuesday after leaflets were delivered to some homes in the city in the past week.

Similar leaflets have been delivered in other parts of the county.

The man was detained on suspicion of a public order offence covering harassment and offensive conduct.

He was bailed until 22 March.
