Firefighters are continuing to tackle a blaze involving 6,000 tonnes of organic waste in Cambridgeshire.

The blaze began on Sunday afternoon at an agricultural recycling site off Biggin Lane, Ramsey Heights.

Nearby farms were evacuated and people were being told to keep their windows and doors closed, although the fumes were not believed to be harmful.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said two crews were still on site trying to prevent the fire spreading.
