Police investigate Liskeard farm equipment theft

Police in east Cornwall are investigating the theft of farm equipment valued at more than £3,000.

The theft took place from a field on farmland close to Darite, near Liskeard, some time between Saturday 21 August and Tuesday 24 August.

The thieves took four steel five-bar gates, 20 sheep hurdles and a steel cattle crush - used for holding cattle in position while they are treated.

A dung spreader made by New Idea was also taken, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Devon and Cornwall Police or Crimestoppers.
