Festival crash teenager from Cornwall named

A Cornish teenager who was killed in a road accident while walking close to the site of an Isle of Wight music festival has been named.

Henry Minns, 19, of Penryn, was hit by a silver Ford Focus near the Bestival site just after midnight on 12 September, police said.

An inquest was opened and adjourned at Newport Coroner's Court earlier.

A 33-year-old man from Worthing, West Sussex, was arrested about an hour after the collision.

He was questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released until 13 December pending further police inquiries.
