No-one else sought over woman's death in Cornwall

Police are not looking for anyone else after a woman died and a man suffered serious injuries at a house in Cornwall.

Officers were called to Stoke Climsland, near Callington, on Monday after concerns were raised when the woman failed to turn up for work.

She was found dead inside the property and a 65-year-old man with serious injuries was also found at the scene.

The man, who is being treated in hospital, is under police guard.

He was flown to hospital by air ambulance.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Following a forensic examination of the scene - which is ongoing - police can confirm that at this time they are not looking for any other person.

"A 65-year-old man is under police guard at hospital where he is receiving treatment.

"The deceased woman has not yet been formally identified."
