Man taken into custody over Cornwall woman's murder
A man arrested over the death of a woman in Cornwall has been released from hospital and taken into custody.
The 65-year-old man was arrested after being found with serious injuries at the house of Amanda Sorrell, whose body was also found at the premises.
Police were called to the property in Stoke Climsland on 27 September after Ms Sorrell failed to turn up for work.
Officers have been waiting to speak to the man, who had surgery at Plymouth's Derriford Hospital for his injuries.
A post-mortem examination has been carried out to try to establish how 55-year-old Ms Sorrell died, but the results have yet to be released.
