The family of a man who died after becoming trapped under a bus in Cornwall have paid tribute to him.

Gareth Harrison, known as Gee, was hit by a single-decker bus at Perranwell Station in School Hill on 22 October.

The 31-year-old, who moved to Truro earlier this year after spending 11 years abroad, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family have released a statement, describing him as a "precious beautiful son, brother and fiancé".

They added: "We are distraught and no words can describe our pain and suffering.

"Gareth was well travelled and had many friends from all over the world.

"We take great comfort from the many messages from family and friends worldwide who describe Gee as an amazing guy and true gentleman."
