Man charged with murder after stabbing in Penzance

A 39-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murder after a stabbing in Penzance.

It follows an attack on Peter Walsh, 45, on Sunday afternoon at a house in Penare Road in the Lescudjack area.

Mr Walsh, from Penzance, died from his injuries in the early hours of Monday, police said.

Stuart Andrew Graham, of Penare Road, Penzance, entered no plea when he appeared before Truro magistrates. No application for bail was made.

The question of bail would be heard before a judge at Plymouth Crown Court on Wednesday, magistrates said.

Mr Graham was remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Truro Crown Court next week.
