More than 20 jobs have been created at Newquay Airport in Cornwall.

British International Helicopters (BIH) has announced it will be operating an aircraft engineering centre by the end of the year.

Carolyn Rule from Cornwall Council said: "It will bring in revenue to the airport and, crucially, much-needed high quality jobs."

Earlier this year Agusta Westland announced it was setting up operations at the Airport creating 30 jobs.

BIH provides the main air link between Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
