Injured builder rescued from Liskeard scaffolding

An injured man has been rescued from scaffolding in Cornwall.

The builder suffered a leg injury on the second level of scaffolding in Green Bank Lane, Liskeard, on Wednesday afternoon.

He was unable to move from the scaffolding which was 15ft (5m) high, but raised the alarm using his mobile phone.

Firefighters used two triple extension ladders and safety equipment, including ropes to bring the injured man down.

He was not seriously hurt.
