Two locations for Falmouth liner passengers

A business group in Cornwall has put forward proposals which it says could lead to more cruise ship passengers coming into Falmouth.

The Falmouth Business Improvement District has proposed separate set-down and pick-up points for passengers.

This would allow visitors to see more of the area instead of just returning to the same set-down spot, it said.

The move is being supported by town managers and Falmouth Docks. About 30 cruise ships are due this year.

Some 20,000 passengers are expected to visit the town.

Under the new agreement, passengers will be dropped of at The Moor and picked at Grove Place.
