Prayers have been said at churches in Cornwall for two men who died in a car crash.

The men have been named locally as Liam Hancock, 20 and Matt Reynolds, 26 from Tregadillet, near Launceston.

They were on the way back from Plymouth on 2 May when the car they were in left the road and hit a tree on the A388 near Lezant.

Three other people in the car were seriously injured in the crash.

Friends of the men have laid flowers in tribute to them in their home village.

One of them, Reece Goodman, told BBC Radio Cornwall: "I'm still in shock, I'm devastated.

"They were always smiling, always cheering people up.

"It's just not fair that God's taken both of them."
