Man arrested over Bugle robbery

Police have arrested a man in Gloucestershire in connection with an attempted robbery at a post office in Cornwall.

Ten police cars were involved in a pursuit on the M5 in Gloucestershire.

One lane remained closed after the arrests were made near Junction 11 on the motorway.

At 1030 BST on Wednesday a man entered the Bugle sub Post Office near Bodmin and threatened the clerk with a gun and demanded money.

She did not hand over any money and the man left the premises.

The offender was described as having a dark-skinned complexion, about 5'8" tall, aged 30 to 40 years, and wearing a dark flat cap and light-coloured coat.

Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone who has any information in relation to the incident.
