A man who admitted stabbing his house-mate to death in Cornwall has been sentenced to six years in prison.

Stuart Andrew Graham, 40, of Penare Road, Penzance, denied murder, but following legal discussions admitted manslaughter.

Graham stabbed Peter Walsh, 45, in a Penare Road shared house in November 2010.

Truro Crown Court heard that the killing with a 20cm knife followed an argument between the two men.

Graham was seen stabbing Mr Walsh on the landing of the house, the court heard.

The court was told there were four stab wounds inflicted on Mr Walsh who died later in hospital.
