Petrol thieves cause £10k damage in Cornwall

Thieves have caused about £10,000 worth of damage after stealing fuel from cars parked on a garage forecourt in north Cornwall.

Atlantic Motor Services, in Camelford, had been targeted several times in the past two weeks, officers said.

The cars had been parked on the garage forecourt and had had their tanks drilled and fuel siphoned out.

Police said the thieves had stolen about £200 worth of petrol and were appealing for information.
