Witnesses are being sought in Cornwall after two van-loads of rubbish were dumped near a busy road.

The rubbish was left at the side of the A39 on the Truro to Falmouth stretch, near the Norway Inn.

Cornwall Council's public health and protection team recovered the rubbish on 20 July and are examining the content.

It said fly tipping was a "serious criminal offence" and could result in fines of up to £20,000 or prison.
