St Ive driver named as Christopher Upton-Taylor

A 68-year-old driver who died after a two-vehicle collision in east Cornwall has been named by police.

Christopher Upton-Taylor, from Torpoint, died after suffering serious injuries in the crash on the A390 near St Ive on Saturday.

One of car's passengers, a 59-year-old woman, suffered multiple fractures and is in a stable condition in hospital.

The occupants of the other car were a family from New Zealand who were on holiday in the UK, police said.
