Rescue teams assist seven people in Cornwall

Rescue teams in Cornwall were called out to three incidents on Wednesday.

An RAF rescue helicopter airlifted two men and a woman after they got stuck on cliffs at Millook, near Bude, at about 22:00 BST, coastguards said.

Coastguard teams and the Falmouth lifeboat were called to three people cut off by the tide on a beach at Portholland, near Mevagissey.

A search was also carried out in rain and fog on Bodmin Moor for a missing walker. He was found by a farmer.

During the moor operation, the Cornwall Search and Rescue Team was called at about 22:00 after the 27-year-old man, who was walking from Camelford to Bolventor, was reported missing by his family.
