A yacht has been refloated after running aground on a beach in west Cornwall.

The 26ft Utopie was on its side at Upton Towans beach near Hayle.

A St Ives lifeboat was called in to tow it back out after it ran aground on Sunday night. Coastguard rescue teams were also on the scene.

It is understood the Belgian skipper may have been confused about his location. Coastguards said he was "a little shaken".
