Suspected arson in Cornwall barn fire

Fire crews in west Cornwall have tackled a barn fire thought to have been started deliberately.

The alarm was raised at about 01:45 BST at a farm at Treen, near St Levan, The open-fronted barn full of straw bales was found "well alight" by fire crews.

The fire in the 15m by 5m (49ft by 16ft) structure took more than an hour to bring under control and crews remained at the scene until 06:45.

The fire service said it alerted police to the suspected arson attack.
