Police warn against cash machine fraud in west Cornwall

Police have issued a warning about cash machine fraud after card skimming devices were discovered in west Cornwall.

The devices have been recovered from cash machines in St Ives and Hayle.

Police have urged the public to be extra vigilant when using the devices particularly when they are inputting their PIN number.

Insp Dave Meredith said they were reviewing the targeted banks' CCTV in order "to target offenders".

Police believe this it was a highly organised enterprise possibly involving criminals from out of the area.
