Penzance man admits £3,500 benefit fraud

A man from Penzance has admitted fiddling his housing and council tax claims.

Marijonus Rocius, 48, pleaded guilty at Truro Magistrates' Court to two charges relating to benefit frauds totalling nearly £3,500.

He failed to tell Cornwall Council his wife was working and he had savings.

Mr Rocius was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 costs.
