Cliff fall man airlifted to the Royal Cornwall hospital

A man has been taken to hospital after falling down a cliff in West Cornwall.

The man, who is thought to be in his 60s, fell while walking at Porthcurno, near Land's End. He has head and spinal injuries.

The injured man was airlifted to the Royal Cornwall hospital in Truro by Rescue Helicopter 193 from RNAS Culdrose in Helston.

Land's End coastguard and Porthcurno lifeguards were also involved in the rescue.
