Cornwall conference looks at disabled child care

Parents and carers of disabled children in Cornwall are being asked to take part in a conference to help shape future services in the county.

The Aiming Higher for Disabled Children Conversation Conference is being held at the Sands Hotel, Newquay, on Thursday 6 October.

Subjects are set to include social care, transport, therapy and equipment services, Cornwall Council said.

The role of providing respite breaks would also be discussed, it added.

The event has been organised by the council's Accessible Child Care Team and Disabled Children and Therapy Services group.
