Coastguard teams rescue injured Tintagel cliff fall dog

An injured dog has been rescued after falling from cliffs in north Cornwall.

The owners of the Alsatian-cross raised the alarm with Falmouth Coastguard when their pet fell from the cliff edge near Tintagel at 12:30 BST.

Two cliff rescue teams from Boscastle and Port Isaac were able to reach the injured dog and return it to its owners.

The dog was taken to a local vet for treatment, but its condition is not known.
