Girl, 14, in court charged with racist attack in Bodmin

A 14-year-old girl from Bodmin has appeared in court charged with a race attack on a shopkeeper.

The alleged incident happened on Saturday at the Costcutter shop in the town's Fore Street.

The girl also admitted charges of criminal damage and assault when she appeared before Bodmin magistrates.

She denied two counts of racial or religious aggravated harassment and was bailed until 21 November.
